URUGUAY: Exports fall, but not by much

According to the latest data from the central bank, total exports in the first eight months of the year were valued at US$3.56bn, down 14.5% year-on-year, while imports in the same period amounted to US$4.46bn (in cif terms), down 27.7% year-on-year.
